Genting Singapore, via its Resorts World at Sentosa arm, has announced that its existing Genting Hotel Jurong will be rebranded as Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong with the conversion slated to complete in early 2026. This repositioning is part of a strategic collaboration with Marriott International, further strengthening Marriott’s presence in Singapore.
Located within the Jurong Gateway precinct of the Jurong Lake District — poised to become Singapore’s largest mixed-use business district outside the central core — the hotel benefits from proximity to Jurong East MRT and key expressways. Under the new brand, the property is expected to offer upgraded amenities, including an outdoor pool, all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre, and about 720 sqm of event/function space.
Gautam Bhandari, Marriott’s Senior VP for Singapore & Maldives, commented that the conversion aligns with Marriott’s growth strategy in gateway cities and reflects demand for well-positioned global hotel brands. On the Genting side, Andreas Oliver Reich of RWS noted that rebranding under Four Points elevates the hotel’s market identity and better addresses the needs of business travellers in the area.
This rebranding also augments Genting Singapore’s hotel inventory beyond its resorts in Sentosa. With this conversion, the group will offer over 1,900 rooms, suites and villas across its portfolio. The move dovetails with RWS’s broader expansion (RWS 2.0), in which Genting has committed billions to upgrade its resort complex and ancillary offerings.
