Hann Casino Resort, an integrated resort located in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, Philippines, is set to launch the first floor of its major casino expansion this Friday. The new addition, named The Canyon, represents the first phase of a larger growth project designed to significantly increase gaming capacity and guest amenities at the resort.
The newly opened first-floor gaming area can accommodate up to 446 guests and features 584 slot machines alongside 34 table games, expanding the resort’s footprint amid strong demand in Central Luzon’s leisure market. This marks a notable boost in capacity compared with the existing casino setup.
Beyond gaming, The Canyon introduces new dining concepts to enhance the overall guest experience. These include The Canyon Café and Winery, with seating for 52 diners, and Three Woks, which offers a fusion of Korean, Chinese and Japanese cuisine with 148 seats, reflecting the resort’s push into diversified food and beverage offerings.
The expansion’s architectural theme draws inspiration from natural rock formations and lush greenery, creating a distinctive atrium-like design that aligns with contemporary integrated resort trends. Although the first floor opens this week, the second floor is scheduled to debut next year, featuring additional gaming space and likely premium amenities.
Hann Casino Resort originally rebranded from the former Widus Hotel and Casino in December 2021 and offers a broad range of facilities including hotel accommodation under Swissôtel, Marriott and Widus brands. The ongoing expansion also ties into broader development plans for the property, which include new hotel projects and leisure facilities aimed at strengthening Clark’s position as a competitive destination for both regional and international visitors.
