Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) has announced a major infrastructure initiative — Wynn Boulevard — designed to provide a direct road connection between the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island integrated resort and the UAE’s broader highway network, specifically tying into the E311 and E611 routes that link Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Northern Emirates. The project was unveiled in tandem with Marjan’s launch of its “Marjan Beach” master development, and contracts worth over AED 1 billion (≈ USD 272 million) have already been committed to the effort.

According to Graham Hallett, Marjan’s chief development officer, the boulevard “connects to the resort through the beach district … to the 311 to the 611, to Dubai and the other emirates.” The objective is to make Wynn Al Marjan Island not just a destination within RAK, but a highly accessible attraction for travelers originating from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and beyond. While Marjan stresses Wynn Boulevard is infrastructure rather than a “Strip,” Wynn has already trademarked names like “Marjan Strip” and “Arabian Strip,” suggesting ambitions for a distinctive themed corridor.

Strategically, the boulevard is expected to be completed prior to the resort’s soft opening in early 2027, ensuring seamless access from key emirates upon launch. Its integration into the E311 and E611 highways will allow visitors to bypass congested routes and reduce travel friction, helping position Wynn Al Marjan as a compelling alternative to UAE’s existing tourism hubs.
Beyond pure connectivity, Wynn Boulevard is embedded within a larger urban vision. The Marjan Beach plan encompasses 85 million square feet of mixed use development — including 22,000 homes, 12,000 hotel rooms, and a future population of 74,000 — with Wynn Boulevard acting as one of the backbone arteries. As Wynn’s first integrated resort in the MENA region, Al Marjan Island is already attracting attention with its scale (1,542 hotel keys), luxury retail, and architectural ambition.
