Philippine online gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is set to kick off its first international expansion with the launch of GamePlus, its new platform, in Brazil on September 22, 2025. The move comes as part of a broader strategy to grow beyond Southeast Asia, tapping into what is seen as one of the fastest-growing regulated iGaming markets in Latin America.

At launch, GamePlus will feature a catalogue of over 150 of Brazil’s top games, with both free-to-play and real-money versions. The platform won’t just bring global titles: it will also roll out exclusive, locally inspired content (folklore, casual games, sports) to appeal to Brazilian culture. To lead the charge, DigiPlus has appointed Graham Tidey as country manager for Brazil, and has already assembled a local team “with deep cultural and regulatory knowledge.”

The announcement cited DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco as saying that the company was “incredibly excited” to launch its “first brand in Brazil this September.” He added: “Our entry into this dynamic market is the culmination of a global-first mindset, strong collaboration between our teams, and an unwavering commitment to responsible gaming operations. We are not just bringing a platform to Brazil; we are bringing a new standard of safe digital entertainment.” Tanco further noted that the company had “worked diligently” to create a platform “that is not only robust and secure but also culturally resonant.” He concluded: “We are committed to fostering a strong local talent base and ensuring our offerings are perfectly tailored for Brazilian players, from our exclusive games to our player protection measures.”

The regulatory environment in Brazil has matured recently to enable this move. In 2024, the Brazilian government formally approved regulations covering online betting and gaming, including licensing regimes, consumer protections, and fair taxation frameworks. This regulatory clarity has opened the door for international operators like DigiPlus. With internet penetration close to 90% and a population of over 200 million, Brazil is a prime opportunity. LCA Economic Consulting estimates the size of the Brazilian iGaming market at around US$4.6 billion, underscoring why DigiPlus views this launch as a strategic leap.
