Philippine-listed gaming operator DigiPlus Interactive Corp has entered an exclusive partnership with bills payment provider Bayad to expand over-the-counter (OTC) or physical cash payment options for its platforms. Under the deal, Bayad will become the “only gaming partner” of DigiPlus for OTC cash transactions.

Through this collaboration, players of DigiPlus’s apps — BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone — can now make cash-ins or deposits via Bayad’s network, which includes over 800 Bayad Center branches and partner outlets in malls, supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide. Future phases will include support for cash-outs (withdrawals) and integration with Bayad’s mobile app.

DigiPlus said the move is consistent with its commitment to “safe and reliable service” and to broaden financial inclusion for its users. In the press release, DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco emphasized the goal of offering secure and convenient transaction channels at every touchpoint. Meanwhile, Bayad Chair Ray C. Espinosa described the partnership as a meaningful step toward expanding access to responsible entertainment through inclusive financial services.

The timing of the partnership is significant. In August 2025, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ordered e-wallet operators to remove gambling-related links from their platforms, prompting many gaming operators to bolster alternative payment methods. By aligning with a BSP-accredited electronic money issuer like Bayad, DigiPlus ensures regulatory compliance while enhancing operational resilience.
