The prestigious exhibition event MGM Macau Tennis Masters is set to return to Macau on December 27–28, 2025, at the Macao Forum, promising a two-day showcase of world-class tennis.

This year’s edition features a star-studded lineup: two women’s legends will serve as captains, and they will draft elite players including future stars like Mirra Andreeva, Alexandra Eala, as well as top ATP rising talent such as Shang Juncheng, Jack Draper, and Jakub Menšík.

The format is designed for entertainment and engagement: on Day 1 (Dec 27) there will be a Captain’s Challenge followed by men’s singles matches and a mixed doubles. On Day 2 (Dec 28) the Captain’s Challenge returns, followed by a women’s singles match and two more men’s singles matches. All matches are best-of-three sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a full third set.

The event reflects Macau’s growing status as a destination for top-tier sports tourism: jointly organised by MGM China Holdings Limited and IMG, the tournament is part of a broader effort by the city’s sports and tourism authorities to enhance the “sports + tourism” proposition.
